Regal Entertainment’s long-time matriarch and founder, Lily Y. Monteverde, well known in the industry as ‘Mother Lily’ has passed away at the age of 85 earlier this morning.

In her decades-long illustrious career, Mother Lily has produced timeless films such as Manila by Night, Sister Stella L., Mano Po, Shake, Rattle & Roll, Scorpio Nights, Temptation Island, Relasyon, Die Beautiful, and many more that made an indelible mark in the Philippine film industry.

Mother Lily’s legacy will live on through the people, stories, and films, whose lives she has touched.
